Another new feature & simple fixes:
- Attribute Display Fix (1.21.6 or newer only! Doesn't work with NeoForge!!!)
For weapons that have the attribute: Attack Damage & Attack Speed, it will now display as green text (Providing new actual damage) just like the original attribute tooltip, along with the note (On how many amounts added/reduced)
- Item with Custom Name should now display properly when converted
- Made sure All Spear Variations can display preview stats
- Netherite Spear should now work when upgraded from diamond form

New feature introduced and small adjustments:
- Item with Custom Attributes, Name, or Durability will not be replaced by the Forging Converter Anymore.
- Item with Custom Name (Command-Made) will be stored when forging. However, only the main text will be stored (No [] text)
- Nerfed Rotten Reforge, requiring 17 Xp level, and reduced Attack Damage Bonus from 4 to 3.
- Copper/Spear Equipments will now properly show its attributes.
- Added a notification when forging Modded Items, that it WILL replace and randomize Attributes on convert
- Chaining Reforge with Toolful reforged items should now work
This is for the newest snapshot update 25w41a:
- Added All Spear Variations to the Vanilla Reforge System
(Don't worry, all other new items will have their name correct when reforged, I had already implementmented a system for that in the past)
Also, no new texture for new items (Including the copper one). Unfortunately, I don't have time for that...
After this update, I will not update this datapack for a while. If I still have free time, I may update this to newer versions and the specific 1.21.1 version.
Introduced 4 new Reforges:
- Piglin's Fortune: Tool reforge that gets Piglin Bastion chest loots with a small chance from mining.
- Illager's Fortune: Tool/Melee reforge that gets a random Woodland Mansion chest loot with a decent chance.
- Warden's Fortune: Tool reforge that have a small chance to get Ancient City chest loot.
- Trial's Fortune: Tool/Melee reforge that have a chance to get either Normal Trial Value loot or Ominous loot depending if the player have the Trial Omen effect.
Also reworked the Prospector's Reforge: Now it converts all mined drops into Emerald, but reduce its mining speed and efficiency by a TON.
Fix for 1.21.5 version:
- Entity killed detection will now work properly
V1.6 - The 'Better' Update:
Implemented a new feature to the forge system, Quality of life changes, new advancements and a new reforge!
Note: For those who updated from the old versions, you need to replace your anvil for the reforge anvil to work!
Removed the icon 🛠 on top of the anvil, and replaced it with the expected reforge item.
That means when both item & reforge item are placed, and the conditions are right, the forged item will display on top of the anvil. Also the description and stats (Attributes) will show at the right side of the item.
In addition, the xp cost moved to the left side of the item.
The result will look like this:
- When previewing forging Modded Items / Non-Equipments, the attributes will display "???" only.
- Added 21 new Advancements, covering different parts of forging and forged items.
- Fixed the problem with the background in Advancement page
- Swarming Reforge: now have a maximum of 20 bonus attack damage
- Rampaging Reforge: Buffed the bonus attack damage cap from 15 to 20
- Changed the inner code of Forge Types, which the system doesn't need to detect each reforge to run.
- Items that have lore stored will not be replaced by the reforge. Will instead place After the reforge lore.
- Added a new reforge: Supreme - Allows players to forge additional reforge. However, not all reforge supports each other, especially in Ranged Category.
- Item Slots in the reforge anvil can now be removed/added from clicking only, not Right/Left click
- All original forge items that can be forged again (eg. Durable, Enhanced, Unbreakable etc.) are now put into a single category: Upgradeable Forge Item. They now cannot be forged together.
- Added Self-Repairing reforge to the Upgradeable Forge Item list
- All Upgradeable Forge Item now provides the description back to the item lore and item preview
- Made the forge description to stack up, up to 7
- Xp cost for the Items that upgraded with Supreme can now be seen again.
- Added a new type category: Artifact, it is for Runic Reforge Only
- Now the datapack should allow players, and mobs outside of Vanilla Minecraft to take effect of Reforge Abilities (Now 1.21.5 can be supported in this version)
