Bug Fixes
- The bottoms of Grass Blocks no longer rotate when snow is placed or removed from on top of it. (Vanilla issue)
- Vines and Lily Pads are no longer tinted green in item form in game versions from 1.20.2 to 1.21.3.
General Changes
- Pack now reads as compatible with game versions from 1.21.5 to 1.21.11.
- Bushes now appear snowy instead of gray.
- Wildflowers' stems now match Pink Petals' stems like they do in vanilla (made them use the same texture).
- The stems of Pink Petals and Wildflowers are no longer subject to block face dimming, making them more consistent with other cross models. Instead they use a pre-tinted texture that appears more accurate to Bedrock Edition.
- Changed Leaf Litter colors. They are now lighter but more saturated.
- Falling leaf particles now appear snowy like the leaves they come from.
- Pack now affects flowers with pre-colored stems (poppies, peonies, etcetera), including the item forms of Pink Petals and Wildflowers, intentionally excluding Sniffer flowers. They are now a cold bluish color.
- Leaves and small flowers now use the same mipmap strategies as in vanilla in game version 1.21.11.
- Removed the Trails and Tales panorama.
- Grass Blocks no longer use the snowy texture from Cornbread's Texture Fixer.
- Sniffer Spawn Eggs now appear snowy like Sniffers themselves do.
- The moss growing on the Bogged and their Spawn Eggs is now a cold bluish color.
- Creepers and their Spawn Eggs have figured out how to imitate snow.
Requires Polytone
- The particles for Birch Leaves, Spruce Leaves, and Lily Pads are no longer tinted green.
- The particles for Oak, Dark Oak, Jungle, Acacia, and Mangrove leaves; Short Grass, Ferns, Tall Grass, Large Ferns, Sugar Canes, and Vines are no longer tinted green in certain biomes.
- Water now uses its colors from the Bedrock Edition release of the pack. Pack does not include the vanilla Bedrock Edition water colors.
Technical Changes
- Moved all block textures that were in "textures/block/cb_snowy/" back to "textures/block/", removing unnecessary model files.
- Removed some item files that weren't necessary.
- Rerendered a bunch of textures, making their file size smaller.
Bug Fixes
- Potted Flowering Azaleas no longer have flowers on their insides, to match normal Flowering Azaleas. (Vanilla inconsistency)
- Azalea Leaves and Flowering Azalea Leaves no longer use slightly different color palettes. No clue how that even happened in the first place.
- Leaves should now look less garbage when "Graphics" is set to "Fast".
- Short Grass, Tall Grass, Ferns, and Large Ferns now look correct in item form.
- Vines and Lily Pads now look correct in item form in game version 1.21.4.
- It is technically possible to fix their appearance in older game versions, but it would be tedious and i can't be bothered right now.
General Changes
- Pack now reads as compatible with game versions from 1.21.0 to 1.21.4.
- Pack now reads as compatible with game versions all the way back to snapshot 23w31a, which is the first to support multi-version packs.
- Panorama now only shows the Trails and Tails variant in game versions from snapshot 23w31a to release 1.20.6. Otherwise, the vanilla panorama is shown.
- A panorama would be warranted for The Garden Awakens drop, but the method I previously used to make them no longer works for literally no reason.
- Vines are now subject to block face dimming.
- Pack now affects Mossy Cobblestone and Mossy Stone Bricks. They are now a cold blue instead of a warm yellowish green.
- Tweaked the side and internal textures of (non-potted) Azaleas and Flowering Azaleas. The snow is now rounder, and the snow-covered flowers are now visible like on other similar textures.
Technical Changes
- All affected block textures have been moved to "textures/block/cb_snowy" for potential resource pack interaction, except for "textures/block/grass_block_snow" and the textures for Mossy Cobblestone and Mossy Stone Bricks.
- This is done using the model files without touching the blockstates files since using the blockstates files would provide no benefit.
- Pack now replaces the vanilla colormaps with pure white in a vain attempt to hide an issue with particle tinting. It works some of the time.
- Pack now reads as compatible with game versions 1.20.5 and 1.20.6.
((previous version was hosted on another site))
- Updated pack_format to 18.
- Added "supported_formats" field to pack.mcmeta, allowing the pack to be compatible with 1.20.2, 1.20.3, and 1.20.4.
- Added changelog.txt.
- Grass (now Short Grass) is no longer green in 1.20.3 and 1.20.4. (Added JSON)
- The stems of Pink Petals now use a lighter texture and are also no longer green. (Added texture, JSON)
- Updated panorama to the 1.20 one. (for technical reasons, the panorama had to be taken in Java Edition, so special thanks to ShockMicro and/or Ancientkingg (and the Vanilla Tweaks team) for the fix to cloud fog.)
- Sugar Canes are no longer subject to a biome's colors. (Added JSON)
