- Fixed an issue caused by incorrect cullface arguments on cauldrons and composters that allowed you to see through the world.
Additions
- Added credit in the files for all the models and textures I've adapted from other resource packs.
- Visual cauldrons: If a cauldron contains a fluid, you can see it spilled on the caludon's sides, with more spillage for fuller cauldrons. A long overdue addition to this pack.
- Visual composters: Also long overdue; you can see how full a composter is through the gaps in its side planks.
These will likely be the final tweaks added to this pack. Anything else either cannot be done with a resource pack, already exists in other packs, or I'd consider just not worth adding. VRVP is now more or less feature-complete in terms of tweaks.
Changes
- Updated the pack format to support 1.21.9.
- Updated the textures of dispensers, droppers and observers to make them aesthetically match vanilla better.
- Removed Vanilla Tweaks's Pixel Consistent Tripwire Hooks from this pack as it didn't align with this pack's goals. The tripwire itself is still pixel consistent, as it makes it slightly easier to see.
- Updated the pack format to 64.
- Visual daylight detectors - their tops now glow red while they're emitting power.
- Visual leaves - they now become darker when attached to logs, depending on their 'distance' property. This is a very subtle effect, and only something you really notice when it changes.
- Visual scaffolding - distance from a supporting block is indicated through increasing amounts of string tied to the sides.
- Reworked note block models and textures so the texture size isn't needlessly huge, and to fix alignment errors with the corner indicators.
- Made a tiny change to the dropper texture to make it slightly easier to tell which way they're pointing in certain situations.
- Fixed a bug that made tripwire hooks use the vanilla model instead of the new one.
-Updated to the latest resource pack format -Changed repeater and comparator models and textures to reflect the new redstone torch texture -Other minor tweaks
Additions:
- Visual note blocks: Note blocks now have small signs on their sides telling you the current note, as well as corner lights that change colour based on the pitch and current instrument.
- Visual jukeboxes: Jukeboxes now have red corner lights that light up while a record is inside.
- Visual target blocks: When hit with projectiles target blocks flash red, in a similar way to mobs when they take damage.
- Visual tripwire: tripwires visually get tugged down when triggered. They are now also pixel consistent, as are tripwire hooks; this addition uses Vanilla Tweaks's's pixel consistent tripwires as a base.
Changes:
- Hoppers now only have corner lights at their tops, and they now contrast more with the hopper itself to make it easier to tell where it is pointing.
- Altered the textures of dispensers, droppers and observers to make them more consistent and visually appealing.
- Adjusted the new hopper textures so they look nicer.
- Overhauled the inside textures of hoppers to make it MUCH easier to see the direction they're pointing in.
- Hoppers now additionally have bedrock textures on their inside and funnel end textures while locked, to maintain consistency with locked repeaters.
- Changed the textures of sticky pistons slightly to make them easier to differentiate them from normal pistons.
- Changed the filename and pack.mcmeta to make it easier to see which version this is on the resource pack menu.
- Updated the minimum supported version to 1.20.2, as dispenser and dropper block state updates don't work properly before this version.
