Tired of punching trees? The PrimalCraft: The Flint Beginning module reimagines Minecraft’s early game into a tougher, more realistic survival experience. Say goodbye to wooden tools and unbreakable fists.
Recipes

More about The Flint Beginning
🧔♂️ Primitive Progression
- Find Flint & Sticks – Gather Flint from gravel and Sticks from fallen leaves.
- Craft the Flint Knife – Your first essential tool.
- Collect Grass Fiber – Use the knife on tall grass to get this new crafting material.
- Make the Primitive Axe – Combine Flint, Fiber, and Sticks to finally chop down your first tree.
🚫 No More Tree Punching — Your Hands Have Limits
Your fists are no longer indestructible. Wooden tools are gone, and brute-forcing nature has consequences.
- No Wooden Tools – Removed from crafting, creative inventory, and bonus chests.
- Breaking Hard Blocks Hurts – Attempting to break logs, stone, ores, or other solid blocks by hand now inflicts half a heart of damage per hit.
- Extreme Fatigue – Using non-tools (like seeds or dirt) to break solid blocks won’t hurt you but is 100× slower.
- Fragile but Dangerous – Punching glass or ice will cause damage. They’ll still shatter, but you won’t get the block back.
