About

What this mod hopes to achieve:

• Add origins based on as many touhou characters/species as possible, also offering alternative origins within the same species/character, like ReimuA and ReimuB.
• Keep the origins somewhat balanced and hopefully fun.
• Depict the basic character abilities/personality without necessarily being 100% faithful to the lore, e.g. Flandre = Destruction and Fairies = Nature.

Origins

As of version 0.6.0, the mod adds 31 different origins:

• Child of Miare: Fragile scholar who remembers everything, focused on knowledge and utility. (Akyuu)
• Wind God Girl: Agile crow tengu specializing in speed, evasion, and aerial maneuvers. (Aya)
• Crow Tengu: Mountain-dwelling flying youkai, swift and alert in the skies. (generic / maybe Hatate)
• Destruction Vampire: Powerful vampire thriving on chaos and destructive energy. (Flandre)
• Flower Fairy: Playful nature spirit empowered by nearby flowers. (generic / maybe Daiyousei)
• Ice Fairy: Frosty fairy, playful and cold, gains energy from nature. (Cirno)
• Kappa: Clever aquatic youkai, skilled with tools and technology. (generic / Nitori)
• Kedama: Small fluffy nature spirit, mischievous and fragile. (generic)
• Butterfly Fairy: Delicate fairy scattering magical scales through nature. (Larva)
• Yuki-Onna: Icy spirit embodying winter, calm but deadly. (Letty)
• Spring Fairy: Cheerful fairy heralding the arrival of spring. (Lily)
• Lunarian: Fragile resident of the Moon, graceful but delicate. (generic)
• Lunarian Princess: Lunar noble, mobile but unable to fight directly. (Kaguya)
• Lunarian Rabbit: Fast, nimble lunar rabbit trained for agility. (generic)
• Lunarian Sage: Wise lunar being, master of alchemy and purity. (Eirin)
• Fantasy Sensitive: Human attuned to unseen boundaries and hidden worlds. (Maribel)
• Star Tengu: Great Tengu who manipulates stars and celestial energy. (Megumu)
• Phoenix: Undying flame entity, reborn endlessly from fire. (Mokou)
• Firefly Youkai: Youkai commanding insects, bright and agile in swarms. (Wriggle)
• Oni: Strong, cheerful youkai with a love of combat and food. (generic / Suika)
• Spirit Cat: Feline youkai skilled at handling spirits. (Orin)
• Jealousy Youkai: Youkai feeding on envy and negative emotions. (Parsee)
• Hakurei Exterminator: Lazy shrine maiden who purifies youkai when necessary. (Reimu)
• Hakurei Priestess: Shrine maiden skilled at exorcism but easily distracted. (Reimu)
• Scarlet Vampire: Noble vampire with refined tastes and long lifespan. (Remilia)
• Wind Priestess: Fragile shrine maiden blessed with divine healing powers. (Sanae)
• Vampire: Classic vampire, powerful at night but weak to sunlight. (generic)
• Wolf Tengu: Combat-savvy wolf youkai, cunning and disciplined. (generic / Momiji)
• Yamawaro: Forest kappa manipulating nature energy and woodland life. (generic / Takane)
• Gap Youkai: Boundary-manipulating being, mysterious and elusive. (Yukari)
• Sunflower Youkai: Protective youkai, devoted to sunflowers and their growth. (Yuuka)

Other than origins, it also includes a single Flawless status effect to depict immortality on some origins (e.g. Lunarians) without making them literally unkillable, inspired by Touhou: Lost Branch of Legend.
