Title Copper Equipments is a lightweight mod that gives copper a real purpose in the game. It adds a full set of copper-based tools and armor, plus a few decorative blocks — all designed to feel like they belong in vanilla Minecraft.

🔧 Features

  • 🛡️ Copper Armor: Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots with balanced durability and protection.
  • 🪓 Copper Tools: Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, and Hoe — all craftable using copper ingots.
  • 🐴 Copper Horse Armor: Because horses deserve style too.
  • ♻️ Smelting & Recycling: Copper gear can be smelted into Copper Nuggets.
  • 🧱 Copper Blocks: Copper Torch, Copper Lantern, Copper Chain and Copper Bars
  • 🎨 Vanilla Textures: Faithful to Minecraft 1.21.9’s style.
  • 🔁 Repairable: All items can be repaired using copper ingots.
  • ✨ Enchantable: Copper gear supports enchantments like any vanilla equipment.
  • 🧪 Oxidation : Blocks gradually oxidize over time, just like in vanilla. Gears also oxidize based on their age and durability. Gear behavior can be customized through the configuration settings.
  • 🕯️ Waxing : Blocks and gear can be waxed to prevent further oxidation.
  • 🪓 Fast Unwax & Scraping: In vanilla Minecraft you can wax a full stack of blocks directly in your inventory with honeycomb. But unwaxing or scraping requires placing them down and axing each one individually. Now simply drop them into a crafting table and they’ll be scraped in bulk!
  • 💨️ Oxidizing powder: Tired of waiting for your blocks and items to age? Sprinkle some Oxidizing powder to accelerate oxidation instantly!
  • 📦 Crafting Recipes: Fully integrated with the vanilla crafting system and added sound effects !
  • 🏆 Advancements:
    • New custom advancements: Rust Rush and Shine Again.
    • Enhanced vanilla advancements: Wax On and Wax Off now adapted to copper mechanics.
    • Advancements mentioned above can also be triggered through crafting recipes.
  • 📝 Configuration: Fully configurable and compatible with Mod Menu for easy adjustments.

v1.0.7

  • 🧟 Armor Spawn for mobs: Zombies, Husks, Skeletons, Strays, and Bogged can now spawn with armor just like vanilla.
  • 🛡️ Copper Armor Trims: Copper armor should properly support trims, fixing the issue present in v1.0.5.
  • 📦 Loot Tables: Most items can now be found in chests or obtained through trades.

v1.1 — Release

  • 🐞 Bug Fixing: I'm going to create my own survival world to test all possible scenarios, just like a normal player would. I'm also leaving a little time for you all to find any bugs that I might have missed
  • 🔄 Versioning: I will test and port the mod to several versions: my goal is full compatibility with all versions from 1.21.1 to 1.21.8
  • 💬 Comment Code: Adding comments throughout the code to help other modders understand and reuse my work more easily
  • 🎨 Gear retexture: I’m not an artist, so the exposed and weathered textures are just linear transitions between copper and oxidized. I plan to rework them to better match the vanilla vibe — with authentic copper stains and aging
  • 📖 Wiki: Most players rely on mods like JEI to see recipes, but I want to go further — a dedicated wiki will expose everything the mod does without requiring users to read the code or learn Java.

  • 🌹 Rosegold Equipment Set: A beautiful alloy of copper and gold with unique textures and balanced stats.
  • 🚈 Copper Rails: New rail type that won’t cost you your precious iron.
  • 🧲 Copper Hopper: A smart hopper that filters items for you — no more bulky redstone contraptions!

📥 Installation

  1. Requires Minecraft 1.21.1 (+1.21.1 needs to be tested).
  2. Requires Fabric Loader and Fabric API.
  3. Drop the mod .jar file into your mods/ folder.
