Uncovery is a datapack that adds content to Minecraft like structures, mobs, items, recipes, advancements, and more.
📝 Description
Released in July 2023 by bbschef. The datapack is recommended for both singleplayer and multiplayer. It aims to expand the content added in the Trails & Tales update, adding features like paleontology to the game.

Structures
Paleontology Site
A structure that spawns in Plains, Desert, and Tundra biomes. Here you can find the Paleontologist Villager, who offers new trades. Locate with /locate structure <structure_name>
Ancient Fossils
Structures that spawn slightly buried (2 to 4 blocks underground) in Plains, Desert, Tundra, River, Cold Ocean, and Warm Ocean biomes. They can be located using the Fossil Finder item. Locate with /locate structure <structure_name>
Hydrothermal Vents
Natural structures that spawn in Ocean biomes. They are decorative and release both bubbles and smoke. Locate with /locate structure un:hydrothermal_vent
Illusioner Tower
A structure that spawns in Swamp biomes. Here you can find the Illusioner, who provides a new exclusive set. Locate with /locate structure un:illusioner_tower
Mobs
Coelacanth
A rare fish that spawns in deep cold oceans. It is large and found in groups. Drops Raw Coelacanth upon death. Summonable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/eggs/coelacanth_spawn_egg
Paleontologist Villager
A mob that spawns in the Paleontology Site. It appears in Plains, Desert, and Tundra biomes. Has unique trades, and each one accepts different fossils. Summonable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/eggs/<mob_name>
Illusioner
A mob that spawns in the Illusioner Tower. It is a mini-boss that uses its Illusory Bow and arrows to deal damage to players. Summonable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/eggs/illusioner_spawn_egg

Fossils
Podzol Fossils
Items found in suspicious gravel in cold Ancient Fossils. There are 6 types of podzol fossils, all tradeable with the Paleontologist Villager. Givable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/fossils/podzol/<item_name>
Sandstone Fossils
Items found in suspicious sand in hot Ancient Fossils. There are 6 types of sandstone fossils, all tradeable with the Paleontologist Villager. Givable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/fossils/sandstone/<item_name>
Amber
A rare item found in suspicious blocks in Ancient Fossils. Tradeable with the Paleontologist Villager. Givable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/fossils/amber
Misc
Raw Coelacanth
Obtained by killing a Coelacanth. Can be cooked to obtain cooked cod. Tradeable with the Tundra Paleontologist Villager. Givable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/misc/raw_coelacanth
Illusory Arrow
Tipped arrows found in the chests of the Illusioner Tower. They apply blindness, slowness, and weakness for 11 seconds on impact. Givable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/misc/illusory_arrow
Illusory Bow
A bow obtained by killing the Illusioner. It has 50% more durability than the default bow and comes with Power 5 and Punch 2 enchantments. Givable with /loot give @s loot un:uncraftable/misc/illusory_bow

Empanada
Craftable food using wheat and any cooked meat. Nutrition: 10, Saturation: 12.8 (high-quality food).
Misc
Fossil Finder
Craftable item using copper, bone, and compass. Allows finding any type of Ancient Fossils through a dialog. Givable with /loot give @s loot un:craftable/misc/fossil_finder

- It is recommended to use this datapack with CliffTree.
- Compatible with any worldgen datapacks like Terralith, WWOO, etc.
