Compass Locator

A rework of the locator bar mechanic using the compass!

  • hold a compass in your hand to recieve waypoints from other players
  • have a compass in your inventory to broadcast your position
  • limits broadcast range to 1024 blocks

For servers

  • Compass Locator will not affect gameplay in your singleplayer world.
  • Perfect for servers with players who might want to stay hidden.
  • Provides a no-command, vanilla-esque way for players to choose whether they want to use the locator bar.

Known Issues

It may take a few seconds to properly broadcast one's position to compass-wielders.
