About
A Breach Happened is a psychological horror data pack aimed to make the player feel like something stalks their Minecraft world.
FOR YOUTUBERS
It should be safe to play with Myuu's music on, as long as you give credit. Put this in your video description:
Music:
@Myuu
Before you play
Press G (Quick Actions) to open a visual guide.
THIS GRIEFS YOUR WORLD (YOU CAN TURN THIS OFF IN SETTINGS)
THIS HAS JUMPSCARES (SEE JUMPSCARE SPOILERS BELOW)
THIS DOES NOT CRASH YOUR GAME (YET)
THIS DOES NOT INTERACT WITH YOUR COMPUTER
THIS DOES NOT BAN YOU FROM YOUR WORLD
NOT FULLY TESTED IN MULTIPLAYER, MAY BE BUGGY
It is HIGHLY recommended to play with Minecraft music on, I also recommend putting music toast on. It uses music for a lot of the ambience when events occur. This does have jumpscares, read spoilers below if you want to know how and where they happen.
Features
Entities
3 new entities are now able to spawn in your world with unusual AI and unusual behaviour. These entities only spawn in the Overworld, so going to The Nether or The End is safe... I think?
Story
A WIP story line regarding one of the entities, it is very prominent and will have a major impact the more the player interacts with it.
Different paths
It is possible to make choices in the story that will have different outcomes, and will lead to different scenarios. I plan on expanding this further.
Events
The world is filled with random unusual events that is not usual for normal Minecraft. Random holes, random redstone torches, weird entities, weird sounds and lore.
Music
We are lucky to have artists like Myuu who make their music royalty free for us to use it in our projects. There are several tracks by Myuu which aims to make the world feel more ominous.
Dimensions
There is one prominent new dimension that grants the player incredible convenience. However, it comes at a cost...

Jumpscares
White figure:-
Looking at the white figure causes it to turn around and fly into your face.
-
Sometimes it can spawn as an AI around the player making footstep sounds, it may fall and do whatever, until it reaches the player, where it will fly into your face.
Black figure:
- Not necessarily a jumpscare, but can certainly startle a player if they are not aware of it, music stops and an ominous sound will start playing if it is close, this creature is deadly, but not during the first encounters.
Red figure:
- Can be encountered while in a crammed space far underground. This creature will stop music and start mining towards you playing block breaking sounds until it reaches your tunnel. It will then enter chase mode which makes a loud sound, is deadly, but not during the first encounters.
Herobrine:
-
Every time the player sleeps there is a 10% chance that it will be a Herobrine jumpscare.
-
There is a structure that uses oak fences as support pillars for a roof, this structure contains a jumpscare after opening the chest and exiting.
Underground in general:
-
There is a spooky image that can spawn underground at low light levels. This image will immediately jumpscare you if you get close.
-
Random sounds may play from random directions and cause the music to stop.
Overworld events:
- Randomly while going in newer chunks, the player may experience very creepy sounds such as loud voices or other scary ambient sounds.
MAJOR STORY SPOILERS
MAJOR STORY SPOILERSOverview: The story revolves around the white figure. After interacting with it, it will send you to The Void dimension where it will introduce itself sort of, then it will send you back.
Second Encounter: The second encounter is where things get interesting, such as giving you access to this dimension whenever you encounter the white figure in the Overworld. It is worth noting that after this interaction the player will be prompted if they want to enter this dimension or not. If the player accepts entering the void 5 times, it will trigger the next quest.
Quest 1 – Kill the Red Figure: The next quest revolves around killing the red figure, once done encounter the white figure again and it will reward you with... an interesting mechanic. Use this interesting mechanic 3 times to trigger the next quest.
Quest 2 – Kill the Black Figure: Once you encounter the white figure again, it will ask for you to kill the black figure that spawns at night (yeah good luck, I recommend using a bow or maybe end crystals). Once killed, encounter the white figure again. This time he will give you a choice, give your power and become friends. The player may answer yes or no.
Path: Yes On yes, the white figure disappears and the player will find themselves unable to craft, no mobs are spawning, no crops are growing and it is permanently night. The player then has to find all the 12 lore books that should've been spread around that aren't too uncommon to find. The last lore book will show the player where to go. Once a player enters this place they must find a structure, this may take a while. The player may also just exit with the test button, but this won't progress the story.
Once the structure has been found the player finds 2 chests. One of the chests contain a book mentioning a code, and the other one gives you a map and a book explaining how you need to fill the bottom of a bedrock layer by the chunk error. Go to that location on the map and find the chunk error, fill it in with any solid blocks. Once filled, encounter the white figure again, it will then give you a choice, if you tell the truth it won't be mad at you, if you lie it will rage. If you lied, it will be capable of griefing you hard every time you encounter it. If you did not lie it will act as normal. Encounter it again to receive its final monologue for now.
Path: No On no, the white figure will make your screen go black and make a distorted sound, it then disappears. The white figure is now capable of extreme griefing every time you encounter it. Once you have encountered it 5 times it will talk to, and it will mention that it will banish you. Once the monologue is over, the player may try to leave the dimension, but will not find themselves in the overworld. They are now banished and it is impossible to leave this dimension. Dying does not work, and the test button does not either.
Find the structure. This time the player is unable to leave using the test button and needs a passcode to exit. This passcode is 303 referring to entity_303 also known as error code 303 "/trigger test_button set 303". Find chunk error and fill the bottom layer with solid blocks to proceed to the next quest. Once filled everything returns to normal, encounter the white figure again, this time it will give you a hefty last monologue for now.
This is where the story ends so far, but I have more plans in the future.
