Cutscene API

This release adds supports for Fabric/Quilt, as well as Minecraft 1.20.6.

Format changes

• pitch in effect appearing_text no longer requires a value field - its contents are now inlined. It should possible to combine the new and old formats.
• soundbite in effect appearing_text is now a resource location and should be inlined. The old format is still supported.

API changes

• A lot of platform-specific code is now hidden away behind PlatformAbstractions and its client-side counterpart, ClientPlatformAbstractions. You can get an instance from CutsceneAPI.platform() and CutsceneAPI.clientPlatform(). Most notable changes include:
  • CutsceneAPIEntities is no more. Use PlatformAbstractions#getWaypoint() to get the EntityType
  • Added CutsceneNetworkHandler#writeArray and #readArray to read and write arrays from FriendlyByteBufs in a platform-neutral way.

Most cutscenes from previous versions remain compatible to this day, except for the changes described above.
