Wonderous Sea is the final attempt by our team to create a mod in the name of "Endless Ocean". We are a select few of the past team members who helped construct the first two iterations, and with that we have come together for one last time. Wonderous Sea will add a plethora of new animals to your minecraft oceans, rivers, and mangroves! We currently have added thirty-one new spawn-eggable mobs and plenty will follow!

Threadfin Lookdown: Threadfin Lookdowns can be found within Warm Oceans and Mangrove Swamps, and can be bucketed. They drop fish scraps upon death. -
Scatfish: Scatfish have four species variants, and can be bucketed. Scatfish may be found within Warm Oceans and Mangrove Swamps. They drop fish scraps upon death -
Soapfish: Soapfish have three species variant, and can be bucketed. Soapfish may be found within Warm Ocean biomes. Soapfish drop fish scraps upon death. -
Spadefish: Spadefish have seven species variants, and can be bucketed. Spadefish may be found within Mangrove Swamps, Lukewarm Oceans, Deep Lukewarm Oceans, and Warm Oceans. With select species spawning in each one. Spadefish drop fish scraps upon death. -
Blue Glaucus: Blue Glaucus are adorable little venomous nudibranches. They may be found within select Lukewarm and Warm Ocean Biomes. They drop blue dye upon death. -
Marine Flatworms: They are the free swimming spirits of Phylum Platyhelminthes! Marine Flatworms have ten different species variants (with more coming in the future), and drop slime balls upon death -
Sea Otter: Sea Otters aside from being my favourite thing on earth, are very curious and adapt hunters. Sea Otters may be occassionally seen holding a variety of items on there backs, and may be found within Stony Shore biomes. Sea Otters may also be bred with Raw Cod. -
Bottlenose Dolphin: Bottlenose Dolphins may be found with Warm Ocean and Lukewarm Oceans. Bottlenose Dolphins have a variety of playful animations, and as well love to follow boats. Bottlenose Dolphins may be bred with a bucket of cod. Bottlenose Dolphins can also be fed "Toothsome Seafeed" for a reward -
Common Dolphin: Common Dolphins are cheery little creatures. They may be found within Warm Ocean biomes. Common Dolphins may also be bred with a bucket of cod, and sometimes rarely will drop a gift for your help of bringing in new life to their pod. This is called a "Harmony Stone". -
Stenella Dolphin: Stenella is a genus composed of six species. Stenella Dolphins all randomly may drop a dolphin tooth from time to time, of which can be brewed into a potion of dolphin's grace.Spinner Dolphin - Lukewarm & Deep Lukewarm Oceans (Bred with Bucket of Tropical Fish) Striped Dolphin - Deep Oceans (Bred with Bucket of Cod) Clymene Dolphin - Warm Oceans (Bred with Bucket of Cod) Pantropical and Atlantic Spotted Dolphin - Warm & Deep Lukewarm Oceans (Bred with Bucket of Cod) -
White Sided Dolphin: White Sided Dolphins are also a genus composed of six species. Headbeak Dolphin: Headbeak Dolphins are also a genus composed of four species. Headbeak Dolphins are quite unique as they are quite small compared to most dolphins. Headbeak Dolphins will also occassionally spare Warm and Lukewarm fish depending on the biome in which they were fed with a Bucket of Tropical Fish.Hectors Dolphin - Lukewarm & Deep Lukewarm Oceans (Bred with Bucket of Cod) Commersons Dolphin - Lukewarm & Deep Lukewarm Oceans (Bred with Bucket of Cod) Heavisides Dolphin - Lukewarm & Deep Lukewarm Oceans (Bred with Bucket of Cod) Chilean Dolphin - Cold Ocean (Bred with Bucket of Salmon) -
Rissos Dolphin: Rissos Dolphins are shy creatures and tend to avoid the player. Rissos Dolphins may be found in Warm Oceans and bred with a Bucket of Cod. Rissos Dolphins love to hunt squid, and will ocassionally leave their beaks in the water after the hunt. Rissos Dolphins that hunt and destroy glow squids will begin glowing themselves. -
Right Whale Dolphin: Right Whale Dolphins are spectacular thin swimmers that are composed of two species, they may be found in Cold Oceans. There also bred with Buckets of Salmon. -
Tucuxi: Tucuxi's are quaint little river dolphins. Tucuxi's may be found in Mangrove Swamps, and can bred with a bucket of Threadfin Lookdown. -
Porpoise: Porpoises are a group of animals composed of a remarkable seven different species. Porpoises will grant "Porpoises Grace" upon swimming with them. This effect grants the user haste underwater. Beluga Whale: Beluga Whales are the canaries of the sea. They may be found within Frozen and Deep Frozen Oceans. Belugas may also be spotted occasionally swimming upside down, and as well will occasionally molt their skin. Beluga Whales may be bred with a Bucket of Cod. -
Narwhal: Ah . . . Narwhals the true to life unicorns. Narwhals may be found within Frozen and Deep Frozen Oceans. Upon death they may drop their precious tusk. Narwhals may be bred with a Bucket of Cod. -
Bottlenose Whale: Bottlenose Whales may be found within the Ocean, Cold Ocean & Deep Cold Oceans. Bottlenose Whales are the only whales within the mod that cannot be bred, and are currently the only mob divided by male and female. -
Minke Whale: Minke Whales are one of the smallest baleens to currently live. Minke Whales may be found within Warm, Frozen, & Deep Frozen Oceans. Minkes may also be bred with a Bucket of Cod. -
Humpback Whale: Humpback Whales are very curious giants. They love to follow boats and jump about the waves. Humpback Whales may be found within Oceans, Deep Oceans, Warm Oceans, Cold Oceans, and Deep Cold Oceans. They may also be bred with a Bucket of Cod. Upon death it's corpse will drop, and it may be harvested by right-clicking. However do note! They may EXPLODE -
Gray Whale: Gray Whales may be found within Warm, Cold, and Deep Cold Oceans. Gray Whales may be bred with buckets of Cod. Gray Whales too drop corpses upon their death. -
Right Whale: Right Whales are large giants that may be found within Cold & Deep Cold Oceans. They may be bred with buckets of Salmon, and similarly drop corpses upon their death. -
Bowhead Whale: Bowhead Whales may be found within Deep Frozen Ocean Biomes. Bowhead Whales may also be bred with buckets of Cod. Bowhead Whales also drop corpses upon their death. -
Fin Whale: While it may only be second largest of the baleens, it does win first spot for the fastest. Fin Whales may be found within Cold & Deep Cold Ocean biomes, and may be bred with buckets of Salmon. Fin Whales do not currently have corpses implement within the mod. -
Blue Whale: The largest animal to swim our gracious seas. Blue Whales may be found within Cold & Deep Cold Oceans. Blue Whales may also be bred with buckets of Cod. -
Black Harbinger: The legendary Black Harbinger, is a whale of misfortune. Sailors unlucky enough to come across the behemoth will be granted omens and bad luck for as long as they exist in the same space. -
The Ancient Mother: The legendary Ancient Mother, is a creature so rare and only known in myth that people are unsure if it even exists. The Ancient Mother is a sign of goodluck, and as well the largest blue whale in the ocean. Bringing her a harmony stone is said to unlock the power within it.

Toothsome Seafeed: Toothsome Seafeed is a kibble that can be crafted out of cod and spare fish and given to Bottlenose Dolphins. Giving a Dolphin Toothsome seafeed will cause the Dolphin to search within the water for sunken junk. Sunken Junk may then be recycled for useful loot. Seafeed may also be used to breed Vaquitas -
Spared Lukewarm & Warm Fish: Spared Fish can be obtained through random feedins of Headbeak Dolphins -
Fish Scraps: Fish Scraps are remnants of small fish dropped when a small fish is killed -
Squid Beak: Squid Beaks can be obtained when a Rissos Dolphin kills a squid. Squid Beaks can brewed to make potions of blindness -
Dolphin Tooth: Occasionally passively dropped by Stenella Dolphins periodically, and can be brewed into potions of dolphin's grace -
Porpoise Fluke: Flukes are dropped when a Porpoise is slaughtered, and can be utilized into making potion's of porpoise grace -
Beluga Molt: A passive drop that occurs periodically from Beluga Whales. Is utilized to craft Sea Whistles, and Waste Recyclers -
Raw Whale Venison: Venison can be obtained by looting all baleen whale corpses. Venison can further be cooked, keep in mind corpses are risky to loot -
Cooked Whale Venison: Cooked by-product of looting whale corpses -
Whale Blubber: Whale Blubber can be obtained by specifically looting Humpback and Gray Whales. Blubber can be crafted into Whale Oil -
Baleen Bristles: Baleen Bristles can be obtained by looting specifically Right and Bowhead Whales. They can be thrown in a stone cutter to create artificial feathers. -
Whale Oil: Whale Oil is crafting item that can be utilized in the production of Oil Lamps -


Sunken Loot: Sunken Loot can be obtained through Dolphins being fed "Toothsome Seafeed". Sunken Loot can be thrown into a Waste Recycler to get a various amount of resources out of them. -
Sea Whistle: WIP, currently has no use. -
Harmony Stone: These wonderous stone can be given to the player as a thank you from Common Dolphins. However, bringing this stone to an Ancient Mother will activate it's power. Everytime the Ancient Harmony Stone is clicked it will grant luck to the player for a short period of time. -
Oil Lamps: Oil Lamps are new decorative light blocks, and come in both normal and soul variations. -
Narwhal Tusks: Narwhal Tusks are a decorative block that can be obtained by the death of a Narwhal. Narwhal Tusks can be sheared and in doing so they will start to occassionally play sounds from the ocean. -
Waste Recycler: The Waste Recycler is a new station block that is utilized to turn sunken junk into something useful.
