Updates in 1.4.2
Tidings all, this update brings with it a new biome to explore, a new hostile creature, so many new plants,
a new game mechanic, fishing in the Bygone, and so much more!
This update is being released earlier then we wanted, on a mix of a fatal crash needing to be patched and
personal events shifting development.
Please note that the mod now requires LITHOSTITCHED.
If you experience any bugs, please report them on our GitHub!

New features in 1.4.2:
- Lithostitched is now a dependency.
- Added the "Sable Grove" biome, Sable Canopy tree, Sable Moss Block, Sable Moss Carpet, and Sable woodset.
- Added Sable Branches, Thorny Sable Branches, Umbra Soil, Umbra Grass, Sablossoms, and Moon Blossoms.
- Added Sable Nuts and Roasted Sable Nuts.
- Added Sable Mossy Byslate, including Stairs, Slabs, and Walls.
- Added Sabeasts and Sabeast Spawn Eggs.
- Added Speed Wheat
- Added the Gumbo Pot, Gumbo Bowl and Gumbo Bottles.
- Added Suspicious Claystone.
- Added Dogus.
- Added Wriggling Soil, and Bucket O' Baitworms.
- Added Bucket of Coelacanth.
- Bygone Biomes now have their own Fishing pools.
Sable Groves
- Sable Groves is a biome that will generate on the edge of Megalith Fields.
- The Sable Groves is home to unique vegetation, and the Sable Canopy.
Speed Wheat
- A new plant that will appear in more "lush" biomes, if a entity walks through this plant they gain a temporary speed boost.
- When broken, a edible item/seed will drop. Which will also give entities a speed boost.
Gumbo Pot
- When you right click on the Pot with a "ingredient", and it fills up the Pot with one level (There are eight levels for now)
- Players can right click the Pot with a bowl and get a "Gumbo" Bowl.
- Early-game resources, such as moss, sticks, slimeballs, and rotting flesh, can be added to the gumbo pot to create something of a sustainable food source, should the player be desperate for food.
- NOTE: We are looking for a lot of feedback with this Block, so please let us know what you think!
Gumbo Pot Ingredients:
- An arbitrary number can be decided that determines how long ago an ingredient could have been added before it becomes completely "phased-out" (deleted from the data pool,) its assigned stats becoming incrementally smaller in value the closer it gets to that point.
Sabeasts
- Sabeasts are hostile animals found only in the Sable Groves. When seen, they will blind the Player and dash towards them.
- Sabeasts are terrified of Torches and Fire, and will flee Players holding Torches.
Dogus
- Dogus are decorative statues found via brushing Suspicious blocks found throughout the Bygone.
Wriggling Soil, and Bucket O' Baitworms.
- Wriggling Soil is now found throughout the Umbral Soil patchs in the Sable Grove.
- When right clicked with a bucket, Players will receive a Bucket O' Baitworms.
- When a Bucket O' Baitworms is used on a body of water, a 8x8 area will be affected, making "bites" more common when fishing.
- Using a Bucket O' Baitworms by crops will also speed up their growth!
Bygone Fishing
- Every biome within the Bygone now has three unique fishing pools, "General", "Rare", and "Treasure".
