Changelog
Updated to game version 1.21.9 and implemented Copper changes that required the Copper Age drop to work. Also fixed some bugs and made other changes that aren't enough to be a full size update.
Copper tools have been added to item adjustments, and Copper bars can be used to speed up curing of zombie villagers. It relies on surrounding the zombie villager directly in a 3x3x2 area. Iron bars can be used as well, but using Copper bars yeilds a separate curing speed-up effect that can stack with the regular mechanic, but is much stronger. Together they can cut down cure time by up to a minute.
Additionally, in preparation for the next game drop, which features a speed-based damage weapon, the Mace has been reworked:
- The Mace now disables shields for 5 seconds like axes
- It's extra damage for non-smash attacks is now tied to buffs rather than speed. All require the player to be sprinting
- Sprinting adds 2 damage and 1 knockback
- Each level of the Speed effect or Soul Speed enchantment adds 1 damage and 0.5 knockback
- Each level of Density enchantment adds 1 attack

- This results in an easier time getting high damage and encourages certain builds
Mob changes
- Loot table fixes with rare drops and Looting enchantment
- Baby Creepers have baby zombie speed
- Sniffers have double health, baby and adults both
- Happy Ghasts have +50% speed rather than +100%, but their flying speed is affected by the Speed Effect
Item/Crafting Changes
- Glistering Melon now works properly
- Mushroom stews now have "+" signs at the end to denote what level they are
- Potions and stews/soup can be consumed faster
- Regular Golden Apple Absorption hearts can stack if eaten consecutively, for parity with Bedrock Edition
- Only regular sandstone/red sandstone can be stonecut back into sand
- The unused element paintings can now only be found in archeology, and only swap to each other with the brush
Enchantment/Technical changes
- Fire Aspect is now the primary enchantment for Fire Aspect + Flame, instead of Flame
- Impact Protection has been split back into Projectile and Blast Protection
- Projectile Protection now adds +15% knockback resistance per level
- Wind Burst is slightly less powerful, but can activate while flying with Elytra by attacking while flying fast enough
- Bug fixes, small optimizations, and file corrections
- A Mobs/Entities category has been added for dialog options
